Lesson 8 Traveling the World Treasures from the Past

“Heritage” is what we have received from the past, what we live with today, and what we will pass on to future generations.

That is why the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO) created the World Heritage Committee in 1972 to protect the world’s heritage sites. 창조했다 보호하다 유적지

There are more than 860 world heritage sites all around the world, and UNESCO continues to add to the list.to the list. 계속하다

1. Abu Simbel (Egypt) Abu Simbel is a set of two massive rock temples in southern Egypt.
