Introduction Did you know that there were 7 Cleopatras. The 7th Cleopatra is the pharaoh we are researching. Did you know that Cleopatra was Greek and not Egyptian and that she was the only one in her family that could speak Egyptian.

Dates Born in 69BC Married her brother when she was 11 years old in 58BC Died in 30BC Became the leader of Egypt at 18 years old in 51BC Ruled Syria for 3 years .

Family life Her father was the pharaoh of Egypt. Cleopatra’s younger brother was Ptolemy 8th Cleopatra Ptolemy 8th first, after he died from drowning she married Marc Anthony. Cleopatra had 4 children.

Domestic Policy Cleopatra was a Co-ruler with her brother

Foreign Policy Cleopatra aligned with Julius Caesar and Marc Antony because she didn’t want Rome to take over Egypt
