Bible definition To hear God's Word and act accordingly. Old Testament to “obey”= “to hear” New Testament “obey”= “to hear” or “to listen” in a state of submission” or “to trust.”

My own definition Do first what God ask you to do, in his way, in his timing and second do what mankind asks you to do based on God’s standard and it will go well with you.
