Facts St.Stephens day honours the 1 st Christian martry, stoned to death after crucifixion. Normally if you are Christian you celebrate this day. It’s the day after Christmas most people say its the 2 nd day of Christmas.

How it is celebrated Many people in Ireland celebrate this day with their family or close friends. A group of boys called the Wren boys go from house to house and ask for money, to get food and drink for the Wren dance.

How its celebrated in Italy In Italy St Stephen’s feast day is traditionally a day for many Italians to visit the Nativity scenes at the churches. Other events on St Stephen’s Day in different parts of Italy include markets, carnivals and festivals.

How its celebrated in Hungary In Hungary St.Stephens Day is celebrated on the 20 th of August. They say its just another 4 th of July for Hungary.
