Library Research Skills for Business Students Mark Bodnar Burnaby

Why? Why would I need to use the library? Everything is online now, and I can use Google to find it, no?

That one article… I want to read “The Effect of Experience with a Brand Imitator on the Original Brand” from the journal: Marketing Letters. I googled it, but was asked to pay $$$. What’s up?!

Articles on the topic… I need articles on luxury brands & consumers. I tried looking in the catalogue, but only found books. Are there no articles?

Dead trees? You keep talking about finding articles. That’s because books are dead, right?

What, Who & Where vs How HOW to find articles = one minor step More important? Figuring out… WHAT you need, WHO cares, and WHERE you should search

What? What would the ideal article look like for your Living Book assignment?

Who & Where? Do your dreams of the ideal article give you ideas of WHO might publish it, and WHERE you should start looking?

Eek! Stop now! My brain is full. Where can I find you if I need help later with all this stuff?

The other stuff… What have we missed? Questions? Concerns?
