Meet The New Executives  Event Planner: Dana Hackett  Junior  Marketing Major  Marketing Director: Yelin Wang  Junior  Finance Major

PACE Event  The focus of PACE is helping students gain a better understanding of the importance of higher education.  This semester, we will be partnering with a local school to promote college readiness and academic achievement in middle school students.

Our PACE Event  NSCS members will be making a video to share with students about college life, in the hopes of promoting college attendance  Once the video is complete, we will be traveling to local middle schools for screening and Q&A sessions  We need your help!! Please sign up to contribute footage to the film, edit the film, or travel to the schools for the screening of the film.  Any additional ideas about how to make this our best PACE event ever?

NSCS Community Involvement  Through service, NSCS members are able to reach out to those with fewer opportunities and provide them with new resources.  This semester, NSCS would like to become more involved in the Oxford Community by:  Conducting a spring cleaning  Visiting a food bank  Holding a food drive  Visiting a local nursing home  Sponsoring a free concert for the Oxford Community in which 2 cans of non perishable food would serve as admission  Any other community service ideas?  If you are interested in participating in these events or helping to coordinate an event please sign up tonight!!

Chapter Events  This semester, NSCS would like to put on a variety of events to benefit its members!!  Cover letter workshop?  Personal statement workshop?  Mock interview workshop?  What ideas do you have for chapter events this semester?

Spring Rush  Invitations to join NSCS are being mailed to eligible students on February 6.  If you know someone who receives an invitation encourage that person to join our organization!
