Preparation for film series  Consulting with Spanish partners from APABAL + diagnosing situation in Lithuania  Venue: Embassy of United States in Lithuania + surprise  Every second Friday of each month  Criteria for film selection  Films made after literary works  Recognised + interesting  Format: Introduction + Screening + Discussion  Ways of information dissemination

Feedback: Questionnaire  How did you find out about this event?  Why did you choose to attend this event?  What do you think of the venue for the event?  What do you think of the format of the event? Consider 3 parts: introduction, film show, discussion.  Overall, have your expectations been met? Why/Why not?  Are you going to attend the next 3 film shows? If so, would you like to get a certificate for the 4 sessions?  What advice could you give to the organisers of such events?

Feedback: Results (2)  Why did you choose to attend this event?  To see the movie - 7 (37%) + (like the ones based on literature works; meet new people)  Like films – 8 (42%) + (good chance to improve English)  Looking for ideas to be applied in class – 2 (10%)  English discussion – 1 (5%)  To support LAKMA – 1 (5%)  Searching contact with Embassy  What do you think of the venue for the event?  Perfect – 4 (21%)  OK – 14 (74%) (“… had to wait outside because of security”; “… only security too strict”)  Good but could be different – 1(5%)

Feedback: Results (3)  What do you think of the format of the event? Consider 3 parts: introduction, film show, discussion.  Good – 15 (79%) (interesting, especially intro; useful; good sound and view; smooth show; intro and discussion are not necessary)  Perfect – 2 (10,5%)  No time for discussion - 2 (10,5%) (maybe next time; too long an intro)  Overall, have your expectations been met? Why/Why not?  Yes 16 (84%) (interesting and useful)  Expected more  No – no discussion  I hated this film

Feedback: Results (5)  What advice could you give to the organisers of such events?  Everything is OK - 14 (74%) (“It was interesting and I had a great evening.”; “Everything is perfect, thanks.”; “I want to say thank you.”; “Thank you for what you’re doing.”; “Good luck”)  To start a bit earlier – 2 (11%)  Choose better films + Choose more wholesome films  Short speech before event
