The Lost Sheep Luke 15:3-7 Blake Law

Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus 'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take him at his word; Just to rest upon his promise; Just to know, thus saith the Lord.

Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus Jesus, Jesus, how I trust him! How I've proved him o'er and o'er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust him more.

Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus O how sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to trust his cleansing blood; Just in simple faith to plunge me 'Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus Jesus, Jesus, how I trust him! How I've proved him o'er and o'er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust him more.

Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus I'm so glad I learned to trust thee, Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend; And I know that thou art with me, Wilt be with me to the end.

Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus Jesus, Jesus, how I trust him! How I've proved him o'er and o'er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust him more.

The Ninety-Nine and the One

Luke 15:3-7 So he told them this parable: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Cows and Sheep

The Ninety Nine and One Jesus our shepherd loves His sheep and knows them all by name. They do not have to be tied down when they are sick, but they know the sound of their Master's voice when He calls. Jesus the shepherd does not give His sheep over to the risks of the wildness, but rather risks His own life to make sure they are safe.

Questions Does Jesus lose any of his sheep? Do you ALWAYS obey God’s rules? So are you one of the ninety-nine sheep that stayed with Jesus or are you the one that got lost? What did Jesus do to rescue you?

What a Good Shepherd!
