What is a Landscape? Visible features of an area of land that include physical elements, living elements, and the human element. What are some examples of “landscapes” we use/experience ? Landscape design: A plan that is created to improve a landscape in order to meet the needs and desires of the end user

Basic Design Principles The key is to create unity in your design by using the following five principles: Simplicity Balance Focalization of Interest Rhythm and Line Scale and Proportion

Activity What do you think a good landscape looks like? Use the Internet to find 5 examples of landscapes that you think look good.
