Respiratory System MISS JAMIE

What will this cover?  What makes up the respiratory system?  What are the effectors and receptors?  What are vital signs? What do the numbers in Blood Pressure mean?  Why does BP and heart rate matter?  How does this change while you exercise?  What does diet do to your BP?  Why do you want a certain BP?  Differences between anaerobic and aerobic?

Standards and Objectives  “Measure respiratory rates during inactivity and activity” (Understand what these mean)  “Analyze how aerobic exercise impacts an individual physically,”

Assessment of this lesson  Blog about your sleep patterns, exercise and diet and how this is affecting your CNS and PNS and Respiratory System. Talk about how to prevent disorders  Submit a link to your post on Blackboard within a week of seeing last PowerPoint (this one)  Manually find your resting heart rate and Blood Pressure  Have access to this PowerPoint online to reference if needed  Given FitBit to monitor your vital signs and also start finding your average amount of steps in a day.
