EASA orientering Informationsmøde 18 APR 2012 Additional Ratings Flight Test Rating FCL Holders of a pilot licence shall only act as PIC in category 1 or 2 flight test, as defined in Part 21, when they hold a flight test rating. 16 af 21 (NPA ) Category 1 – Flights to determine or expand the flight envelope. Category 2 - Display flights and demonstration flights of a non-type- certificated aircraft. - Flights conducted for the purpose of determining whether there is reason-able assurance that the aircraft, its parts and appliances are reliable and function properly.

The ratio of all students to flight instructors, excluding HT, should not exceed 6:1. AMC1-OR.ATO.210 – ATO other than LAPL/SPL/BPL/PPL 3. In the case of an ATO offering intergrated courses, the HT, the CFI and the CGI should be employed full-time.
