Dr. Kristy M. Vanacore, Psy.D. Dr. Vanacore is a warm and caring Child and Family Psychologist and well-respected leader in the community. She has spent the last 15 years dedicated to empowering and nurturing the minds, bodies, and spirits of children, teens, young adults and families. Utilizing an engaging, compassionate approach, Dr. Vanacore offers a unique holistic approach to coaching and therapy, and evaluations and advocacy; discovering the complex interplay among cognitive, behavioral, emotional, physical/nutritional, social, and spiritual factors so the whole person can be revealed and thrive. Dr. Vanacore holds a Doctorate in Clinical Child Psychology and School Psychology; with particular expertise in Mindfulness-based Cognitive therapy, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Neuropsychology, Educational Consultation, Ecopsychology, and Biofeedback. Dr. Vanacore is also a yoga and Reiki practitioner and incorporates these modalities into her work. In addition to her coaching and therapy with individuals, Dr. Vanacore offers workshops on Mindful Parenting, Empowerment and Life Skills Development for children and teens, Mindfulness for children and teens, and Art as Healing,.
