(See Slides 2,3,4) 3. Today’s (03/30/11 19Z), tomorrow (03/31/11 19Z) and 48 hour forecast (04/01/11 19Z) optical conditions: High probability of Detection and Identification for 90% of op-area. (See Slides 2,3,4) 4. Today’s (03/30/11 19Z), tomorrow’s (03/31/11 19Z) and 48 hour forecast (04/01/11 19Z) suggested tow heights range from 23 – 36.0 feet in op-area. (See Slides 2,3,4) 5.Time Series at Surface for Location 30.05N and 86.1W: Horizontal Diver Visibility ranges from 40 to 85 feet during period starting 3/30/11 19Z to 4/1/11 19Z. Optimal Tow Height ranges from 29.7 to 32.8 feet during same 48 hour period yeilding high probability of target ID. Surface currents during the same 48 hour period ranges from 0.5 to 3.75 knots. Summary Caution: Satellite coverage has been minimal due to clouds! Results derived from mainly optical forecasts. Last good satellite scene collected on 3/25/11.
