2/3 of everyone in the US is overweight or obese 68% of adults in WA State are overweight or obese

One in five children are overweight or obese.

Obesity costs us nearly $150 billion a year...almost twice what it did in 1998.

T he U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention predicts that one of every three 8-year-olds will become diabetic.

What are students eating for lunch? 43 g bag of potato chips 1 can of pop 75 g king-size chocolate bar This is the same as having: 10 teaspoons of fat (40 g of fat) 20 teaspoons of sugar (83 g of sugars). This lunch offers few vitamins and minerals.
