Best Fast Food French Fries?

Introduction This feasibility study compares french fries from four fast food restaurants. The study will give UNT students the best option for fast food french fries. The four options are: McDonalds, Wendy’s, Chick Fil a, Jack in the box. They were judged on taste, weight (grams), price, and distance from the campus.

Methods Taste: The group rated each brand from 1 to 4 for taste. Weight (grams): For the second test, we visited each individual website to find out the average weight in grams for medium sizes only Price in dollars (For Medium Fries): For price, we went to each fast food restaurant and we ordered the medium size fries. Distance from UNT Campus: For distance, we used Google Maps to find the distances from campus.

Point System We used a point system to rank each fast food restaurants fries. Each fry is scored from 1 to 4 points, for each category. Four points are given to the best fry in that category. One point is given to the worst fry in that category.

Results- Average points The data we collected, shows that Chick fil A taste the best, is the second cheapest, is located on campus, and weights the least amount. From our results Chick fil A’s medium fries received the most points out of 4 possible points. Below are the average scores from all 4 categories.

Conclusion and Recommendations Conclusion We conclude that while Chick fil A’s gives the smallest amount of fries, it makes up for in the other tests. The results show that Chick fil A’s fries are the best out of the four restaurants fries. Recommendations Chick fil A has the best overall fries for students on campus.
