The Importance of the Resume The first step in the interview process Peaks the interest of the hiring manager Highlights your career experiences Reflects your attention to detail and your written communication abilities Your resume is YOUR marketing tool and will differentiate yourself from other applicants. It’s the future employer’s first impression.
