Voters evaluate information presented in political campaigns to make reasoned choices (good) among candidates.

Strategies citizens should use for evaluating campaign speeches, literature, and advertisements for accuracy 1. Separating fact from opinion Fact -can be proven hecho : se puede probar ex: Barack Obama is the president of the U.S. Opinion– one’s belief, judgment opinión : la creencia de uno ; juicio ex: George W Bush was the best president ever! 2. Detecting bias (one sided or slanted point of view showing favoritism or prejudice) sesgo de detección Give examples)

3.
