COMING in Winter 2011!! UW Minor in Climate Science Interested in learning more about climate and climate change? The School of Oceanography and Departments of Atmospheric Sciences and Earth and Space Sciences have collaborated to create the first UW Climate Science program for undergraduates.

New! UW Climate Minor Are you majoring in Applied Mathematics, Atmospheric Sciences, Earth and Space Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Physics Oceanography, Chemistry, Biology Environmental Health…or??

Climate Minor Requirements, in brief: Solid background in physics and calculus (e.g. Math 126 and Phys 123-take these in your first two years!) credits, w/ 18 of these outside your major Capstone—Learn about ongoing research in climate through a new seminar/discussion section for undergraduates.

New UW Climate Minor should be available Winter 2011 Questions? Want more information? or contact Miriam at the UW Program on Climate Change ( ) or a student advisor in Oceanography, Earth and Space or Atmospheric Sciences.
