Profile: Rajeev Mecheri, Mecheri Smart Capital A first generation entrepreneur with over 17 years experience in the Security, Safety & Building Automation Industry in India. Rajeev built a very successful company from scratch to become the market leader in India. The business evolved from being a single location business to country wide operations in System Integration, diversified into Product distribution, Product development and Manufacturing. Subsequently, the company raised private equity, completed an acquisition of an Irish company and eventually the business was sold to Siemens. Rajeev now heads Mecheri Smart Capital and Mecheri Ventures. Rajeev is an active member of the Young President Organization (YPO) and a founding member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO). He is also actively involved in Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Madras Management Association (MMA), Chennai Angels and Mumbai angels. Rajeev is on the board of the youth organization, AIESEC Chennai and has received the Young Entrepreneurs Award from AIESEC International in Rajeev is currently pursuing an Executive-MBA from Chicago Booth Business School.
