English Language 2 The Second Semester Never Give up Presented by Dr. Mohamed Sha’at

Objectives of the Session Students are expected to: -skim texts for specific information. -get the meaning of new words. -answer comprehension questions.

She was thrilled and delighted. She was so happy. She qualified for the final at the Commonwealth Game. She finished the 5 th at the National Surfing Championship. She hope to swim faster than she did before the accident. She accepted that she will never be world champion.

Natalie still wants to swim faster than before she had the accident. They both lost a limb, but the competed against able-bodied people. Bethany has accepted that she will never fulfill her dream to become a champion.
