UNIT 5 Definition: The set of all possible outcomes of an experiment. Model: Sample Spaces

UNIT 5 Definition: The result of one trial of an experiment. Model: Outcomes

UNIT 5 Definition: Definition: A subset of a statistical population that accurately reflects the members of the entire population. It should be an unbiased indication of what the population is like. Model: Representative Sample

UNIT 5 Definition: The number of ways an event could occur divided by the total number of outcomes. Model: If you have roll a pair of dice, rolling a 3 is 1:6 probability. In reality it may only appear 3 times when you roll the dice 10 times. Theoretical Probability

UNIT 5 Definition: The ratio of the number of times an event occurs to the total number of trials or times the activity is performed. Model: If you flip a coin 5 times and 3 times you get heads, then the experimental probability is 3/5. Experimental Probability

UNIT 5 Definition: A diagram that shows all possible outcomes at the end of "branches" of a tree. Model: Tree Diagram

UNIT 5 Definition: A problem solving tool where data is arranged in array form according to given attributes or useful qualities for solving the problem. Model: Organized List

UNIT 5 Definition: Digits that are determined with no specific pattern or way to predict the next number. Model: Random Digits
