I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e Contracting Basis for contract award Competitive Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) source selection Firm Fixed Price (FFP) – Labor / Cost Reimbursable (CR) – Overtime, Material, Travel, and HAZMAT CLINs Seven (7) year contract – One (1) base year and six (6) options Transition will be 30 days prior to contract award Award will be based on trade-off between past performance and price Past Performance is significantly more important than price, but price will be a substantial factor Technical Acceptability shall be evaluated on an Acceptable/Unacceptable basis All technically acceptable offers shall be treated equally except for their prices and performance records An Offeror must be technically acceptable against all criteria within the contract in order to be eligible for award Failure to meet a requirement may result in an offer being determined technically unacceptable
I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e Flightline Orientation Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention FOD: Any damage to an aircraft, engine, aircraft system, component, tire, munitions, or SE caused by a foreign object(s) (FO) Metal insignias/badges will not be worn on the flightline/maintenance area Wigs, hairpieces, metal hair fasteners, earrings, or any other jewelry that may fall off without notice, are not authorized on the flightline/maintenance area No hat area: hats will not be worn on the flightline or engine operating areas Safety Maintenance personnel are exposed to a large variety of hazardous situations, machinery, equipment, and chemicals Personal electronic or communication devices (e.g., cell phones, beepers, pagers, portable music/video players, electronic games) are prohibited on the flightline, munitions areas, hangars, and/ or other industrial work areas Stay clear of all engine/equipment operations Do not touch any equipment Situational Awareness Stay focused and be aware of your surroundings!!!!
