The story of Aeneas XII century bC

Once upon a time, a prosperous town called... Troy

was completely destroyed by... the Greek army under the command of...

Agamemnon

Only a few Trojan heroes survived the tragedy. Among them... his old father Anchises and his son Ascanius, aka Iulus

After losing Aeneas’ father in Sicily, they arrived on African shores where they were warmly welcomed by Dido, princess of......Carthage

Dido and Aeneas become... but... lovers...

she cursed him, wished for eternal war between both peoples and eventually committed suicide he abandoned her and...

Aeneas and his followers reached the Italian shores where... Finally, after a long journey through the Mediterranean,

centuries later they built an empire that ruled all the known world

And some Romans claimed to be descendents of Aeneas’ son... This is their story... and our History
