 Length: You should have 2-3 pages or about words in which to inspire and enable your readers to embrace your information.  (Word count must be included at the top of article) ▪ You should write to an audience that would benefit from or have interest in this topic. Your feature should be interesting and provide information that can be useful to them.

 Look for "hot" medical issues typically covered in national and international media  Identify a topic of interest that affects or impacts a large audience  Find a credible person to interview about your article (Include what makes them credible) ▪ (Some have been lazy in finding credible sources/people to cite) ▪ Write your feature as you would a news article, ▪ Make sure you write it in simple language so that any reader will be able to understand it

 This feature article will require an outline that must be turned in a week prior to due date (Nov. 8 th ) ▪ Outline must be in an outline format. ▪ (Example on second page)
