WHEN I WAS BORN/MY LIFE  I was born and in Pontecurone, Kingdom of Italy on June 23, 1872 and lived there  I was taught about God by Saint John Bosco  I gathered a group of priests and started a group called Little Work of Divine Providence  I went to Sicily after the earthquake to help the needy especially orphans  After World War 1 I founded schools, farming colonies, charity organizations and nursing homes

MY DEATH/ CANONIZATION  I was not a Martyr  I died on March 12,1940 of cardiac and pulmonary ailments  I died in Sanremo, Kingdom of Italy  I was canonized on May 16, 2004 by Pope John Paul the 11  My feast day is May 12

 My symbol is because I dedicated most of my work to help orphans  I emulated kindness and charity because throughout my work in the church I focused on the needy, especially orphans SYMBOL/ VIRTUE
