North of all provinces. West of Greenland and east of Alaska. South of the north Pole

These are the common vegetation of Cotton grass, sedge, dwarf heath, shrubs, mosses and lichens. At the most southern point there is tree line in between The Arctic and other biomes. The physical geography of the arctic is quiet flat with low mountains towards the cordillera. Most of the ground is rocky and not suitable for agriculture. The Arctic was formed by continental plates colliding with each other and ice ages with glaciers receding has caused the mountains to become more gentle hills.

The Hudson bay company was set up in the park. You can visit the first settlements of it. There are also many activity’s to do during the day such as hiking and boat tours around the bay. It is located on the edge of the Hudson bay and wraps around the north west part of the bay. Latitude: ° Longitude: °

Naturel recourses The Canadian arctic is filled with a lot of naturel recourses such as naturel gas and oil. These deposits still exist due to the fact the climate change is making drilling in the arctic a viable option. In addiction there is also large amounts of diamond deposits it parts which have also just been unlocked from the receding of glaciers. This is there second highest amount of gdp per industry at Million. This however only makes up about 20% of there employment as told by statistics Canada.

The population of the arctic is very sparsely populated but what small communities exist tend to be on the coast near the ocean is lower elevation places.

The climate is pretty similar all over the arctic. It ranges from -54c in the coldest months and barely gets above freezing in the summer in parts. This doesn’t effect the population as much as location since the temperature ranges don’t really change.

Southern and eastern extant Latitude: ° Longitude: ° Northern extent Latitude: ° Longitude: ° Eastern extent Latitude: ° Longitude: °

Most eastern region of Canada. East of the Canadian shield and west of the Atlantic ocean. It is north of Maine and south of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Appalachian region was formed by the oceanic plate colliding with the north American plate. This caused the continental plate to be pushed up wards and the mountains to be created. Then they were made to be more rolling hills like or highlands from ice ages happening and glacier receding. There for the topography of the Appalachians are rolling hills, highlands, fjords and boreal forest.

Fjords in new Brunswick are something you should visit because they are a naturel phenomena that happen from the water eroding the bay and edging out parts of hills until they collapse and it repeats this process. These create naturel peaks to jump off into the water and provides amazing views. Latitude: ° Longitude: ° This is located just east of shaginaw.

The Appalachian mounts are full of coal and naturel gas. This due from the plate collision forming mountains where these recourses are stored. This is the fourth highest part of the gdp at 4 million dollars. It also employs about half the population of this region is employed in some part connected to these naturel recourses.

The population of the Appalachian regions tends to live in more valley like regions or highlands. This is similar to the population in the cordillera. It is also quite dense compared to the interior plains.

The climate appears not to affect settlement patterns in the Appalachian. How ever most like to live on the coastal parts and where there tends to be more precipitation.

The St. Lawrence lowlands is located on the St Laurence river and right in between the Canadian shield and Appalachian regions.

lowland's present landscape are the result of the last continental glaciation, followed by marine submergence, emergence and, finally, river erosion and deposition. Once this all happened the river became smaller until it size today and it causes the soil to be very ritch in nutrients making it a very forested area.

A place you should visit in this region is old Quebec. It is located right on the St Laurence river and is right next to Quebec city. It is one of the oldest cities in Canada. It also has the field where the battle between the English and French was fought. It also has small Fjords on the river and rolling his which make for great photos. Latitude: ° Longitude: °

The main naturel recourse in the region is the very fertile soil. This makes agriculture the biggest part of it’s gdp. But there is also naturel gas and fresh water and mining. Mining and Oil and Gas extraction – 6% (8.7 billion) Agriculture, forestry, fishing, hunting – 3.5% (4.9 billion) Primary Agriculture – 3% (4.1 billion)

The population appears to not be affected by topography and is very dense. Most of the towns are set up along the river. It is however a highly populated area.

The population is affected by the temperature as this region keeps a pretty consistent temperature. They how ever tend to live in high precipitation areas for agroculture
