Club Requirements! No dues are required from members who want to participate in HOSA at UF activities! There is no point system or mandatory events to remain an active member! Attend as little or as many events that you want! All members can participate in our events but we would prefer you have a HOSA at UF shirt to represent our organization!

National Dues Our national dues are: $22.00 This is needed in order to: Compete in regional, state, and national competitions Apply for special HOSA scholarships Take part in any Florida or National HOSA events We will be collecting dues at the end of the meeting and at office hours Dues need to be turned in by mid- November (tentative).

Regional Competition Please let us know which competition you have chosen to compete in by early December using the sign up form. Remember, you may only compete in one category, unless you would like to participate in a recognition event as well, such as the National Recognition Program.

Scholarships- 20 pts Chords- 20 pts Financial assistance for competition- 15 pts Monthly raffles- 3 pts For every hour, you get one point Meetings and every other event will count as points but you have to actually log it into GatorConnect yourself to receive them. Dance Marathon 26.2 hour event- For the Kids please continue to create fundraising pages! Any help is great and creating a fundraising page does not mean you are a registered DANCER. The website is It doesn’t cost anything to sign up, it’s just a page where people can donate money that goes toward our $3000 dollar organization goal. Dance Marathon: Dancer Registration Dancer registration continues until Wednesday, November 13 th. It is $30 dollars in the Fall and $35 in the Spring You HAVE to register during the registration periods in order to dance. Money is due to me by Wednesday, November 13th (if paying with cash), otherwise you can pay online with a credit/ debit card. Money can be turned into HOSA office hours in the Reitz during office hours

Dance Marathon Fundraiser! 4 Rivers Smokehouse When: November 12 th from 11am-9pm (All day!) Where: 4 Rivers Smokehouse SW 35th Blvd. Hand your coupons to the cashiers when you check out to donate Double spirit points at check ins between 2PM and 5PM (Miracle families are here during this time)

Dance Marathon Fundraising We have letters and envelopes to send to family members who are not technologically savvy  This will give them all the information they need about DM and gives them information on how to donate  whether on the Internet with a credit card or sending cash or check donation. All donations are tax- deductible!

HEROS HEROS & HOSA Health and Education through Research, Outreach, Empowerment, and Service (HEROES)is a University of Florida student organization that aims to empower the community to advocate for their identified health and educational needs in order to create healthy environments through service, education, and research One of the organization’s goals in is to address health inequities in our community by engaging in community- based projects and service.
