Who Am I? I was born in El Paso, Texas. I’ve been living in New Mexico since I am married and we have 3 children, Eddie, Issac and Sophie. I have been running my own “Home Daycare/Preschool” for the last 2 years and LOVING IT!

Educational Background I attended a public school in El Paso, Texas from K - 12 th grade. After adulthood wasn't as fun as I thought it was going to be, I attended and ALL WOMEN'S Catholic College - The College of St Catherine in St Paul, Minnesota from , graduating with a B.S. in Business. In 11th grade, I encountered a teacher who was very caring and he set my foundation of who I am today! Mr. Sass was our Choir teacher and he and his wife became great role models for me. My mother had passed when I was in 11th grade & I was needing direction. They took me and the other choir members in and would let us come to their home to “hang out” and not be running around town.

Future I love teaching Preschool and enjoy the younger children. I am attending the MAED program at Ashford to help me obtain a teaching position in an Elementary setting.

Master’s Degree A Master’s Degree will help me in my future role as a teacher, by learning the latest methods of teaching and technology to assist my future students. I also feel it will help me advance into a position quickly!
