July 2014  My Dad was diagnosed with bone cancer.  Caretaker  Transportation  Food  Visits  Work  Family

August 2014  Celebrated my last Birthday with my Dad.  My Dad passed away 8/19/15.  Fatigue  Foamy Urine (proteinuria)  Severe Muscle Cramps  Shortness of Breath  Biometric Screen  High Cholesterol  High Triglycerides  High Blood Pressure  Couldn’t get a LDL Reading

September 2014  Numerous Blood Tests  Urine Work-Up  Kidney Biopsy  Bone Marrow Biopsy  CAT Scan  Numerous Testing  Diagnosed with:  Multiple Myeloma (only 10% – 15% of patients)  Amyloidosis AL (Primary)  About 2,000 cases in the U.S. a year  2/3 are men  Only 5% are under 40  60% go into remission

AMYLOIDOSIS AL  Kidneys (Stage 1)  Heart  Liver  Spleen  Nervous System  Digestive Track (Pancreatitis – High Triglyceride's) A very rare potentially fatal blood disorder that produces abnormal protein cells in your bone marrow called light chains that attack your organs. Early detection is the key. No cure only treatment.
