EDU 671 By, Terrie Walker 6/24/14

Introduction Hello everyone, my name is Terrie. I have worked in Early childhood for over 25 years. I just recently graduated from Ashford University with a B.A in early childhood and decided to return for a Masters in education.

As a child I attended P.S 146 in the Bronx, N,Y. I can remember the words of my fourth grade teacher, as he bang and hoped on the table “You have to stop, look and listen. I do not jump and bang on tables but, I used the same words with my own children and students. I could not be the person I am, with out the help of family and great teachers.

In the near future, I will have a position as a director of my own childcare learning center or a principal of an elementary school. I have obtain my degrees, because times are changing,and you must have a certain degree by but I have also obtain my degrees for me, so I can show my own children goals can be set and accomplished.

I read this quote and it describes me and how I feel as a teacher.
