How many Americans were unemployed in 1933?

The influenza epidemic that swept the world in 1918 killed more than 20 million people (18 months). One fifth of the world's population was attacked by this deadly virus. Within months, it had killed more people than any other illness in recorded history. Bubonic Plague killed approximately 25 million people in 5 years.

More Americans died from the 1918 Flu than those Americans That died in WWI, WWII, Korean War and the Vietnam War combined.
