Amman (Protection) – Part I TARBIYYAT TOPIC – MARCH 2015 MAJLIS ATFAL UL AHMADIYYA USA

March is significant because it was the month where the Muslims during the time of Prophet Muhammad (saw) were provided protection when doing the hajj (pilgrimage)

Think about it … What does protection mean?

True protection comes from Allah alone!

This verse uses the word “izbillahay”, it means every individual should seek refuge with Allah! And when thou recitest the Qur’an, seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the rejected. Surely, he has no power over those who believe and who put their trust in their Lord. His power in only over those who make friends with him and who associate partners with Him.

Daily recitation of the Holy Qur’an is a way to protect yourself from everything Holy Qur’an

Escape to Medina Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) was revealed to emigrate from Mecca to Medina after facing thirteen years of persecution with his people (Muslims) from the kafireen (disbelievers of his (saw) prophethood ).

Once known from Allah, the Holy Prophet (saw) went to Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) house to tell him. Abu Bakr (ra) asked to accompany the Holy Prophet (saw) and he accepted. Being over joyed by this, Abu Bakr (ra) had let it be known to his daughters that he is emigrating with the Holy Prophet (saw) to Medina. They then packed provisions for their journey. Escape to Medina

The Holy Prophet (saw) then went back to his home and gathered all the things that he was given throughout different persons from the Quraish of Mecca in the past and handed them to Hazrat Ali (ra). He asked him to give them back to their owners.

He then asked Ali (ra) to stay at his house and sleep in his bed, to be covered by his mantle while he leaves for Medina. At this time Holy Prophet (saw) house was surrounded by the enemies so that they can kill him and he escaped right in front of them, without them ever knowing. No one stopped him and he went through the streets of Mecca unnoticed whereby he eventually met up with Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) in cave Thaur. Escape to Medina

When the Holy Prophet (saw) and Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) went into the cave it was riddled with deadly and poisonous insects and snakes. When the enemy learned of what had happened and that Prophet Muhammad (saw) had escaped they sent trackers after them. Escape to Medina

They had tracked them to the cave Thaur but for some strange reason did not pursue to go inside and check if they were there. The trackers simply left. Both Prophet Muhammad (saw) and Abu Bakr (ra) escaped to Medina without anything happening to them. Allah protected them both.
