The Engineering Foundation Programme is a college based programme at Edinburgh College, Dalkeith and the pre-cursor to our Craft Apprenticeship Programme. Every year we are able to offer the top performing students from this programme direct employment as an apprentice with ScottishPower. This programme is open to 16 – 19 year olds with National 4s or 5s and the students work towards a NC Level 5 in Electrical Engineering, get employer-led technical training and also get paid a sponsorship fee every month of £200.
