Movement  You look out the plane as your about to land in Haiti for a mission trip that your church is going on. You see a endless sea of light brow and reddish dirt. You hate your first step off the plane and the hot wet air hits you. As your walking though the village that your going to stay in you see children running around and having fun. But the one thing you don’t see is cars or anything that you expect in the modern world. The first thing that you do is go to the local class room to get a quick class about Haiti. The class room is about the same size as you bed room and its extremely hot. A man in clothes that look like something you would use to clean a table. He starts to talk about Haiti He Tell you that Haiti's top export is Knit T-Shirts and there top import is rice. He also tells you that about 70% of Haitians that move out of the country end up living in The U.S. Then he starts to talk about slaves and you wonder how this would have to do with any of Haiti. But you soon find out that most of the Haitian population and decants of slaves that were brought to Haiti to be slaves for the Spanish people that first discovered this island of Haiti. He also ended with telling with telling us that only 55% of the population of Haiti receives food daily

Region  The country of Haiti was a territory of France. It has been an independent country for 207 years. Their flag is still adapted from the French flag. Haiti is on a island in the Caribbean Sea. They share the island with the country of Dominican Republic. Over 95% of the people in Haiti speak one language. That language is Hatian Creole. Haiti has cut down most of its forests. Only 2% of the forests are still there. Only 10% of children in elementary school go on to attend high school.

Place  Haiti is a country with traditional music like hip- hop and mini-jazz. They're culture is interesting because they are a mix of African and European elements. The clothes that they wear are second hand made and most of it looks like ours. Always on Sunday's the women put on dresses. They are the only country with voodoo as an official religion. In Haiti, it is a very mountainous place that is also why the country is called Haiti.

Human environment interaction Haiti is not all just beautiful weather and beaches it can be a very dangerous place not only for the people but for the future of the once beautiful island. The forests that once covered this island has been cut down and reduced over time to just 4% of what was originally there. Despite the constant flooding of homes, there are many water born illnesses, such as cholera, caused by the constant flooding and contamination of their water, and pesticides (DDT) that they use on there crops. Crops can be one of the few things Haiti can export, corn, rice, and sugarcane to name a few. And to top it all off, over half of the population 57%, who live in Haiti are unable to keep homes due to the natural disasters there.
