Admissions Requirements at Texas Christian University Important Student Requirements: The last day TCU will accept your application is February 15, in which you then will be considered on a space-available basis. For the SAT’s the minimum for critical reading is 520, the minimum for math is 530 and the minimum for writing is 520. For ACT scores TCU requires you get at least a 23 out of 28 on the composite section. TCU looks for a minimum GPA of 3.5 but other factors also come in to play like your involvement in school, extracurricular. TCU requires that a student take 2 years of electives and a world language, and 4 years of math, English, science, and social studies.

Student Body Demographics at Texas Christian University The number of students attending TCU is 8,799. There are so few because it is a private school. 54% of the students at TCU are female and 46% are male. Many people do commute to TCU. Housing is available though if needed.
