What to Flex Weekly Memory Work Rotation Schedule Supplies Expectations Awards Activities/Extras

Review Normal Focused Group Scenario Focus on one Truth per week –Teacher TruthTime Lesson Plan –Student TruthBook Keep all children within the program learning on the same Truths at the same time. (example: all children in Book 1 of their level at the same time.) Memorize one Truth per week –6 Doctrinal themes per TruthBook (12 Doctrinal themes per level) –60 Truths per TruthBook (120 Truths per level) –Two review units per doctrinal theme = 12 review units per TruthBook. –Totals 72 units (72 weeks) for each TruthBook.

One Truth/Unit Weekly takes 18 months to complete ONE TruthBook 12 month years –2 TruthBooks x 18 months = 3 years to complete a level. 9 month years –1 TruthBook = 2 nine month years to complete –2 TruthBooks x 2 nine month years = 4 years to complete a level. Flexible Option: children can do one book in one level and the second book in another level. –Child entering 1 st grade on a book 1 year: 1 st & 2 nd grade = level 2 book 1 3 rd & 4 th grade = level 3 book 2 5 th & 6 th grade = level 4 book 1

2 Truths/Units Weekly allows one to finish the TruthBook in 9 months IF you want to finish TruthBook within 9 months: Focus on TWO Units per week –Teacher TruthTime Lesson Plan –Student TruthBook Keep all children within the program learning on the same Truths at the same time. (example: all children in Book 1 of their level at the same time.) Cover and Memorize TWO Units per week –60 Truths (Units) per TruthBook –2 Review Units per Doctrinal theme (12 review units) –Combined equals 72 units divided by 2 = 36 weeks

12 Month Study each Doctrinal Theme 8 Weeks to complete TruthBook. IF you want to finish TruthBook within 12 months: Study each Doctrinal Theme 8 weeks –Teacher TruthTime Lesson Plan –Student TruthBook Keep all children within the program learning on the same Truths at the same time. (example: all children in Book 1 of their level at the same time.) Cover and Memorize: –60 Truths (Units) per TruthBook –2 Review Units per Doctrinal theme (12 review units)

Rotation 9 month program equals –3 themes per year –12 weeks per theme 10 units = 1 Truth per unit 2 review units = review 5 Truths at a time –4 years to go through all 120 Truths. Level 2 = 1 st – 2 nd Level 3 = 3 rd – 4 th Level 4 = 5 th – 6 th (child only completes 1 TruthBook per level, but makes it all the way through all 120 Truths at an appropriate learning level for his/her age.)

(especially good if working with bus children.) –Can be done as a small group discussion during class
