Data Pipeline Town Hall February 26, 2015 The goal of the webinar is to provide updates on the Data Pipeline and current and upcoming collections. These webinars also provide a forum for districts, BOCES, and Administrative Units to have questions answered about Data Pipeline.  Implementation plans have not changed – only the date  Pilot LEA’s will have three weeks to review and provide feedback  General release after all pilot issues have been addressed  Mandatory cut-over date days after the general release  Once you create or updates users, you stay on new 11g DA  Thank you for your continued patience – CDE will not release the product until the performance issues are resolved. 13 Collection opens March 2 nd 2015 and closes April 3 rd 2015 No changes in file layouts from last year. Current file layouts are Report Card March File Layout and Definitions

14 Directory

 4 Day School Week Application  Submit Your Annual Four-Day School Week Application by May 8  School districts operating a four-day school week (less than 160 scheduled days per school year) are required to submit a request for approval. To be considered for the of school year, please complete the application via Data Pipeline by Friday, May 8. Districts requesting approval are not obligated to follow their proposed calendar if their local planning is not finalized. Directory 15

 In addition to submitting the four-day application through Data Pipeline, districts Accredited with Priority Improvement Plan or Accredited with Turnaround Plan that are submitting a district- wide application for all schools within the district need to submit the following additional information separately to Jhon Penn at A copy of their respective school calendars, building class schedules, assembly schedules, bell schedule including lunch time interval and professional development calendar. CDE will review the additional materials for the use and prioritization of instructional time. The executive director of field services and deputy commissioner must recommend approval of the application before it is forwarded to the commissioner for consideration. Directory 16
