3 Recent accomplishments Modeling ionospheric absorption over Canada Using NRCan and University of Calgary riometers, we are currently building an operational product to both display and model ionospheric absorption. Goal: to create an operational product suitable for the aviation industry.

4 Recent accomplishments Total Electron Content (TEC) maps The Centre currently produces near-real-time regional TEC maps from dual-frequency GPS observations in the form of Spherical Cap Harmonic coefficients, and grids over Canada and adjacent regions.

5 Recent accomplishments Development of the different space weather activity levels is underway. Due to the specific geographic location of Canada, the NOAA space weather activity indices are not applicable for local space weather services.
