Credit Link Capital Subsidy Scheme for Technology Upgradation (1/3) Summary of the Scheme: The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is operating a scheme namely “Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS) for technology upgradation of Micro and Small Enterprises. The scheme aims at facilitating technology upgradation of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) by providing 15% capital subsidy (limited to maximum Rs. 15 lakhs) for purchase of Plant & Machinery. Maximum limit of eligible loan for calculation of subsidy under the scheme is Rs.100 lakhs. Presently, more than 1500 well established/improved technologies under 51 sub-sectors have been approved under the Scheme. Since inception of the scheme, 35,533 units have availed subsidy of Rs. 2, crore till

Credit Link Capital Subsidy Scheme for Technology Upgradation (2/3) Sole Proprietorships, Partnerships, Co-operative societies, Private and Public Limited companies in the Micro and Small Enterprises sector are eligible beneficiaries under this Scheme. Industries upgrading from small scale to medium scale on account of sanction of additional loan under CLCSS are also eligible for assistance for next 3 years. Existing and new units registered with the State Directorate of Industries are covered under this Scheme for setting up or upgrading their facilities with technology listed under the Scheme guidelines. The Scheme applies to units where term loans have been disbursed by the eligible Primary Lending Institutions (PLI).

Credit Link Capital Subsidy Scheme for Technology Upgradation (3/3) Basic Eligibility : 1.Units should be registered under State Directorate of Industries. 2.Machines should be New fully automated. 3.Machine should be purchased on Loan basis.
