Definition: An adjective isused to describe a noun

Ruth Heller Many Luscious Lollipops TWELVE LARGE, BLUE, GORGEOUS butterflies. An ADJECTIVE’s terrific when you want to be specific. It easily identifies by number, color, or by size.

These are ALWAYS adjectives. They come before a noun and answers the question Which one?
