After your child completes their essay, have them underline in colors. Underline the thesis and topic sentences in red. Underline quoted evidence in green. Underline paraphrased evidence in blue. Underline elaboration/commentary in purple. Use text markers to provide your child with specific feedback and help them focus on areas to revise.
