Internationalisation as UNI strategy Dr. Dragan Antic, Rector: “Responsibly fostering established cooperation and building new bridges of collaboration with European and world renowned universities, research centers and multinational companies, we establish and strengthen the network with the primary objective of facilitating the mobility of students, but also the transfer of knowledge and new technologies.” INTERNATIONALIZATION + COOPERATION Internationalisation is an institutional imperative, not just a desirable possibility!

Internationalisation is an institutional imperative, not just a desirable possibility!

Comprehensive internationalization It is a commitment, confirmed through action, to infuse international and comparative perspectives throughout the teaching, research, and service missions of higher education. It shapes institutional ethos and values and touches the entire higher education enterprise. It is essential that it be embraced by institutional leadership, governance, faculty, students, and all academic service and support units. Internationalisation is an institutional imperative, not just a desirable possibility!

Comprehensive internationalization faculty development, curriculum design and delivery, instructional design, student diversity and faculty diversity, research and scholarship, training and education for outside clientele, development assistance, student support services and academic support services, resource development, financial management, risk management, institutional competitiveness and positioning, and civic engagement. Internationalisation is an institutional imperative, not just a desirable possibility!
