Objectives During this session, students should be able to discuss their culture and their family traditions, favorite holiday and how they celebrate it, learn about Halloween and Thanksgiving, superstition and ideas of superstition. Grammar focus on reported speech and exercises. Pair Interview on tradition and culture. Team work: making a survival kit, a reading on Subway musicians, vocabulary and Idiom for the day. Drills: on stress & stress rules. Team Debate on: music and education

Group Activity: making a Survival Kit You are all survivors from a tragic incident. You ought to make a survival kit to help you survive. Please follow the instruction on your hand out. Know, you have 5 minutes to agree together on every item on that kit.

Grammar Focus: Reported Speech To report what someone else say, believe, think. You need to have an introductory phrase so called a reporting clause + what the person said/believe or think i.e, Mary believes (that)… + people everywhere are essentially the same.
