The author explains things in the order they happened. Actress and singer Miley Cyrus was born in She became interested in acting at age 9 while her dad was in a TV show. She was in her first movie, Big Fish, in She became the star of the TV show Hannah Montana in 2006.

The author describes one thing that makes another thing happen. Racquel left her Legos all over the living room floor. Later, when her brother Eduardo came home, he tripped over the Legos castle and twisted his ankle. Racquel was grounded for a week!

They probably don’t know the meaning of text structure. Cause and effect- the author describes Sequential order- the author explains things in order they happened.
