What could Universities, and specifically HE Careers Services, be doing to help you effectively engage, recruit and develop students and graduates? 7 Support in understanding the process of application Emphasise the importance of building a transferable skill set for the work environment. Its not all about the academic qualifications. Internships are a really good way to do this Encourage them to get to understand the business they are applying to and the specific programme /opportunity Support in being able to articulate how they can put their learning into practice
