The Bimah This is a platform in the centre, in front of the Ark The Torah is carried there to be read during the service

The Ner Tamid An everlasting light which hangs above the ark It is called the everlasting light as it is always lit. And symbolises G_D’s presence

The 10 commandments in Hebrew The ten commandments hang above the ark These are there to remind Jews of when Moses received these on Mount Sinai
