Spanish 1 TEST (Tue/Wed) Greet someone and ask how they are. Talk about how you are doing. Say where you are from & ask someone where they are from. Say where you live & ask someone where they live. Introduce someone. Tell you are age & ask someone’s age. Tell your birthday & ask someone’s birthday. Tell time in Spanish & ask the time. Ask for someone’s phone number & give your phone number. Ask for an address & give an address.

Ir + a + infinitive To talk about your future plans: Step 1: Choose the correct “ir” verb (voy, vas, va, etc.). Step 2: Add “a.” Step 3: Choose an infinitive (the unchanged verb with an ar, er, ir on the end– hablar, correr, dormir, etc.)

Quick Write Take 3 minutes to brainstorm and then write in Spanish some things that you want or want to do using “Quiero” – “I want” plus verbs or nouns in Spanish. Write at least 8 things you want/want to do. Use Word Reference or ask the teacher if you need to look up a word.
