LANGDALE STREET This new build supported housing scheme comprises five self- contained one and two bed roomed apartments with communal space allowing the tenants to live independently. It is anticipated that this scheme will provide move on accommodation for people living in high dependency services who no longer need this level of support, but whose rehabilitation is delayed by the lack of suitable accommodation. The designs and proposals have been worked up with CHART who are Sefton MBC's mental health housing resettlement team, with Mersey care as the appointed service provider. The scheme will be built to Code 3 for Sustainable Homes The contract has recently been awarded to Lockwoods construction and work is due to commence on site next month with anticipated completion in December this year.

ST MARYS GROVE CHA identified 2 St Mary’s Grove to accommodate two adults requiring twenty-four hour support as identified by CHART working in partnership with Mersey care, the selected support provider. This particular location was favoured as they are already operational in the area and have a good, established relationship with local commissioners. The property was purchased requiring repair and improvement to meet the needs of the end users. The completed accommodation will comprise 2 bedrooms, living rooms, individual bathrooms, shared kitchen facilities and office accommodation. Work commenced in March and will re ready for occupation at the end of May.

ST MARYS GROVE

SANDBROOK ROAD, SOUTHPORT The Nugent Care Society, a support provider for adults with diverse learning and physical disabilities, asked CHA to assist in providing accommodation for 3 service users in Southport. Sandbrook Road will accommodate three adults, requiring floating support. The Nugent Care Society favours this location, as they are already operational in the area and have a good, established relationship with local commissioners. The property will require repair and improvement to meet the needs of the end users.

SANDBROOK ROAD, SOUTHPORT

FAIRMEAD ROAD, MORETON The Wirral Autistic Society, a support provider for young people with Autism, asked CHA to source a house in Wirral to accommodate 3 service users. Two of these do not integrate well with other service users and require more space than is usual. Fairmead Road is a larger than average 3 bedroom, semi detached property with the addition of a ground floor annexe. The additional space, offered by this property is needed to meet the support needs of the individuals and provide a secure and supportive home environment. The property will require repair and minor adaptation to meet the needs of the end users.

FAIRMEAD ROAD, MORETON

HOLLY ROAD, LIVERPOOL The Nugent Care Society, a support provider for adults with diverse learning and physical disabilities, has asked cosmopolitan Housing Association (CHA) to assist in providing accommodation for approximately 11 vulnerable adults. These 11 adults currently live in a registered care facility owned and managed by The Nugent Care Society. Registered care no longer meets their housing need or aspirations, as Liverpool Social Services has confirmed they are capable of independent living. Their housing and support needs will be best met by specifically designed and adapted self-contained accommodation, within a safe environment where they can live independently but with varying level of support available on site. In order to assist in meeting this requirement CHA propose to convert Holly Road into 11 flats and provide communal support space. This housing proposal has the approval of Liverpool Social Services, Liverpool Supporting People, the service users and their families. Start on site with Practical Completion anticipated

HOLLY ROAD, LIVERPOOL

VIRGINIA STREET, SOUTHPORT Sefton Social services department approached CHA in order to find a property for three young adults with low to medium support needs.
