Prior to 95% Complete / Semi – Final Estimate RE to Enter Placement Into Project Accounting Contractor to Enter Retention Promptly Into Subcontractor Payment Entry Screen
Partial 5% Pay Estimate to 0% Final Pay Estimate Applies to Small Duration Projects Only (1 – 3 months usually) Initial 5% Pay Estimate Still Required on 1 st Pay Estimate Process Semi-Final 1.5% Pay Estimate Only if there is 3.5% of Original Contract Amount for Retention Available to Release, 1.5% of Original Contract Amount Available to be Retained, the project is at 95% Complete, and the Final Pay Estimate is Going to Take Awhile If there is not 3.5% Retention Available to Release and 1.5% Available to be Retained but the Project is 100% Complete with Contract Completion, You Can Move Straight to 0% Final Estimate.
