Sparta: o Located in a place that was good for growing food. o Other city-states constantly tried to conqueror Sparta o Life was all about the military: young boys at age 7 were sent to begin military training! Ancient Greek City-States
Sparta: o Men were the only citizens, but women had rights! o Women had to be strong to take care of the household while the men were off fighting and to produce warrior children. o Ruled by kings Ancient Greek City-States
